Here are some kitties I had before the dogs took over. Clockwise, starting with the black cat, are Slicky, Cricket, Sally, and Burke. Burke has on a Snoopy polo shirt and is sitting on my daughter's desk in our house on Catina in New Orleans.
Remember the little one you gave us (Carllito)? He's is the back yard now. He got out shortly after we moved here and I didn't know, he didn't know that there were bad dogs in the neighbor's yard.
Sometimes I think that his spirit lives on in a little girl named Junebug. I've got a number of pics of her on my blog. She falls on her side and begs for love (and gets it always) just like Carlito.
Even though you say that this blog is a project, I think you should keep going with it. It is a good place to come to.
I love the name Junebug. I may have to borrow it sometime for a new critter. The other cat Ruthie who came from the same apt. complex as Carlito is alive and well on my street. J and I brought her when we moved to our house. When I moved down the street she eventually made her way down there too and goes from his house to mine. She isn't friendly with strangers which is a good thing since she is strictly outdoors. Carlito and Ruthie were the only 2 friendly cats out of the bunch who lived in the parking lot. I at least managed to catch most of them and neuter/spay them. The blog is fun and I will continue it. Thanks for reading.
