Richard B. Cheney Will You Please Go Now!

In 1972, Dr. Seuss wrote a book that I read to my daughter many times called Marvin K. Mooney Will You Please Go Now!
A few years later, Art Buchwald substituted "'Richard M. Nixon" for Marvin K. Mooney. Now it's time for another Richard, a real dick, to GO GO GO.

The time has come.
The time is now.
Just go. Go. Go!
I don't care how.
You can go by foot.
You can go by cow.
Richard B. Cheney will you please go now!
You can go on skates.
You can go on skis.
You can go in a hat.
But Please go. Please!
I don't care.
You can go by bike.
You can go on a Zike-Bike if you like.
If you like you can go in an old blue shoe.
Just go, go, GO!
Please do, do, DO!
Richard B. Cheney I don't care how.
Richard B. Cheney will you please GO NOW!
You can go on stilts.
You can go by fish.
You can go in a Crunk-Car if you wish.
If you wish you may go by lion's tail.
Or stamp yourself and go by mail.
Richard B. Cheney don't you know
The time has come to go, go, GO!
Get on your way!
Please Richard B.!
You might like going in a Zumble-Zay.
You can go by balloon . . . Or broomstick.
Or you can go by camel in a bureau drawer.
You can go by bumble-boat. . . or jet.
I don't care how you go. Just get!
Richard B. Cheney!
I don't care how.
Richard B. Cheney will you please GO NOW!
I said GO and GO I meant . . .
The time had come
So . . . Richard WENT.

Apologies to Dr. Seuss and Marvin K. Mooney.

Vice President Cheney, PLEASE don't go. We need your voice like we never needed it before. You are the one of the handful of Republicans speaking, as they say, truth to power, and your efforts are paying off. Obama is playing defense.

The media watchdog is now a lap dog and simply will not bark when they see the things Obama is doing to destroy our Republic. But they'll cover you, Mr. Cheney! And when they do, people get to contrast you and Obama and understand full well why the Dems are perceived as weak on security -- BECAUSE THEY ARE!

Love you, Mr. Cheney. Love Liz, too, so tell her to keep talking too! The heck with this blogger and the others like her who want you to shut up. Isn't it just like the left to insist that those who disagree with them should simply not be heard?!

But why would you want Cheney to go? Don't you want to hear the truth from the number two guy? (Number one already said he won't talk bad about the prez...)

Number two was there...he ought to know. The prez demanded a response to his accusations. I would think any fair minded person would want the other side's side.

And besides, President Obama needs to study the vice president's steel glare, how he holds his chin and the ever so slight curl at the right corner of his mouth ...it can only help him when he goes 'over there' next week.

President Bush didn’t do much to defend himself so it’s not a far stretch to believe that he would ask those around him to take the same sort of approach.

Now that Cheney is no longer in office he does not need to remain silent. Cheney is not instigating this divulgence of “need to know” information.

Nor is he an advocate of putting the US citizen in a “need to know” security classification because it risks our service men and women, and our intel ops.

Cheney is instead *responding* to Obama’s voluntary release of intel operations that should have never been released.

Perhaps you need to read Green eggs and Ham to your child. The character finally agrees to try something he didn't think he would like only to find out that hmmmmmm perhaps he needs to apologize because he was wrong about something he never gave a chance.
