Pearl and Dundee

Cameron and his parents and their two dogs came for a visit yesterday.  We went to lunch at Nippon and then I dog sat while they went to the ballet.  When they returned Cameron did a photo shoot with Lida Rose. Here is a picture of Pat, Dundee and Pearl.  Lida Rose was a little intimidated by them at first but eventually they all played well together.

Pearl at the Dog Park

My favorite dog Pearl stayed with me this weekend so I decided to take her to the Danny Jackson Dog Park. We went Saturday and Sunday morning and it pretty much exhausted her for the rest of the day. We tried the little dog section but she was more of a big dog type so we switched to the big dog section. There is a whole flock of wild parrots who live there. I wasn't able to get a picture of them because it was rainy but I looked it up and they are actually Monk parakeets. There are several flocks of them in the Houston area.

Pearl's mom took this adorable picture of her. Pearl has become my favorite dog now that I don't have any of my own.

I took this picture of Pat's dog Pearl when she was visiting last weekend. I used the camera on my iPad and then applied the noir filter. Pearl is super high energy and reminds me a bit of Ginger when she was young.
