After returning from our trip to Denton I decided to run over to Whole Foods to grab a few things. I had 2 Chocolate Peppermint Stick Luna Bars in my purse so took them out and put them on a table beside the couch so it wouldn't look like I was shoplifting. While I was at the store Lida Rose ate them. They are dark chocolate and she is a tiny pup so they probably would have killed her. We spent most of the night at the Sunset Boulevard Animal Clinic which is open 24/7. She was given a drug to induce vomiting, a drug to stop the vomiting and charcoal to absorb anything else left in her tummy. She will make a full recovery and I will never have dark chocolate in my house again.

Christmas in Denton
Lida Rose and I rode the Vonlane bus to Denton this weekend and had a wonderful time. She enjoyed visiting her sister and also enjoyed the many long walks we took to the square. My daughter and I had several really good meals and enjoyed a production of A Tuna Christmas. Tiger Lily was happy when we left so she could reclaim her spot on the couch.

Pretty in Pink
Lida Rose got this new harness on Saturday. It doesn't rub her skin as much as the other ones do and is really cute too.
Hugging Cats
I was at the Petsmart on Shepherd on Saturday and saw these two adorable cats who are available for adoption through Save A Cat Rescue.

Denton Dogs
On Saturday we went to a Farmer's Market where there was a dog Halloween costume contest. I think everyone's favorite was the Chia Pet Chihuahua.

A Family Visit
My niece Erin, her husband Ben, and their daughter Margaret Carol visited us last weekend. These are a few pictures I took. Margaret had a wonderful time playing with a magnetic paper doll set I bought her and also playing with some of my stuffed animals, as well as the real animal, Lida Rose. On Sunday Cameron's parents joined us for lunch. After everyone left Lida Rose crawled up on the little pile of stuffed animals Margaret had been playing with and fell asleep.

Lida Rose
I got the results for the biopsy on the little growth that was on Lida Rose's gum. It is a benign inflamed gingival fibromucosal polyp. Such good news!

Lida Rose's First Slumber Party
Lida Rose had her first sleepover last weekend when Mr. Bond and Roscoe's parents went out of town. Everyone got along great. If you look at the picture of Lida Rose in the bottom picture you can see what looks like a tiny tongue. She had this removed on Tuesday when she had her teeth cleaned. The doctor thought it might be cancerous so it was sent out for a biopsy. I probably won't find out until Monday.
